BASF Launches Concrete Wall Coating

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2015

BASF has rolled out a new hydrophobic protective coating engineered to protect vertical concrete, concrete masonry units (CMU), and masonry.

MasterProtect C 350 is a water-based, 100 percent acrylic coating that repels water and dirt, helping to reduce exterior maintenance costs and keep facades looking attractive.

Available in the U.S. and Canada, the coating can be applied as a restoration topcoat or used on new vertical construction, according to BASF. The low-VOC formulation boasts “excellent” adhesion to concrete and existing coatings, the manufacturer says.
