Surface-preparation and concrete-polishing equipment maker EDCO Inc. has rolled out a new two-motor flooring remover and three new floor grinders.

The Maryland company will debut the products at the 2015 Rental Show, scheduled for Feb. 22 to 25 in New Orleans.

Four New Models

The company’s new Self-Propelled Tile Shark is a two-motor flooring remover for use on hardwood, ceramic tile, linoleum, carpet and rubber coatings.

It features ramming action, adjustable weight and isolated power.

Also new to the company’s lineup is the Direct-Drive Grinder, a 110-volt grinder recommended for removing coatings and resurfacing concrete floors in compact areas.

The compact grinder weighs 80 pounds and is reportedly maintenance-free.

EDCO’s new Wedge-Less Single-Disc Floor Grinder features a proprietary leveling system that adjusts the machine’s height, allowing operators to quickly attach many accessories of different sizes and purposes.

Grinder

The Single-Disc Wedge-Less grinder includes a proprietary leveling system that adjusts the machine’s height for the attachment of assessories.

It is versatile, grinds smoothly and has superior dust control, the manufacturer says.

Finally, EDCO’s new Heavy-Duty Grinder/Concrete Polisher is a high-powered and heavy-weighted floor resurfacer designed for industrial-strength applications like deep grinding in large areas, removing thick coverings and leveling, the company says.

The product is also designed to polish residential and smaller commercial concrete floors.

Founded in 1959, EDCO is a global developer and supplier of surface preparation and professional sawing equipment, concrete polishing machines, hand tools, and complete contract manufacturing services.
