Super Fan's Super House Gets its Day
Ashtin Fitzwater doesn't just bleed Seahawks navy and neon green. He paints it.
On his roof, on his front door, on his garage, and even on his lawn.
And this 12th Man is 1,147 miles away from his home turf.
No matter. Fitzwater's home in Chandler, AZ, is a giant valentine to his home team, which happens to be headed his way (nearly to his neighborhood) this weekend in Super Bowl XLIX.
Reports say Fitzwater decided to "spruce up" his home when he heard that his team was going to be in town.
The ensuing spruce consisted of a whole-house exterior coat of Seahawks blue, with windows trimmed in neon green, a 'Hawks logo splashed across the lawn, team flag, a rooftop "12" that may be visible from space, and a garage door bedecked in player numbers.

Can the Seahawks house beat up the Pats house? And how does Tom Brady fit through that little hole, anyway?
For the record, CBS reports, the Garage Door of Famers are Nos. 3 (Russell Wilson), 4 (Steven Hauschka), 31 (Kam Chancellor), 25 (Richard Sherman), 29 (Earl Thomas), 41 (Byron Maxwell), 89 (Doug Baldwin), 15 (Jermaine Kearse) and 82 (Luke Willson).
Believe it or not, Fitzwater is not the first Seahawks fan to wear his team's heart on his house. Seahawks local superfan Debbie Gwaltney made the same statement at her home last year. So it must be a Seattle thing.
And, if you wondered, Patriots' fans do not appear similarly inclined to display their sentiment.
The only Pats-painted house to turn up in a Google search this week was a bird house. On Etsy. For $15.
Clearly, deflated expectations.
