Cove Base Finish for Seamless Flooring
A new plural-component urethane product is designed to deliver a quick and seamless seal between a concrete floor system and wall.
Designed for easy installation, Penntek Industrial Coatings’ new FormCove can be mixed on site, shaped and spread with a cove trowel. It can be used on uneven walls and can fix vertical imperfections, the manufacturer says.
The product features a 10-minute pot life and a 15-minute cure, according to the company.
FormCove is formulated for a tight finish, eliminating pinholes in the cove or gaps between the wall and floor. It further creates a seamless transition around the perimeter, including corners, with no joints or gaps, the company notes.
