5 SSPC Courses Added for Vets

Veterans interested in coatings training now have five additional programs to choose from, SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings announced.

With the additional five courses, SSPC has 28 training and certification programs approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Reimbursement Offered

SSPC courses started receiving approval for veterans training in June 2010. A complete list of the approved SSPC training and certification programs can be found here.

Students can receive reimbursement for approved training, but first must prepay for the course and then submit the appropriate paperwork to the Department of Veterans Affairs. After processing the paperwork, the department will reimburse the student from $550 to $1,000 depending on which program they chose.
