Scotchkote Abrasion Resistant Overcoat 6352HF boasts increased flexibility and protects a pipeline's first layer of corrosion coating from gouges, impact and penetration.

According to the company, the coating was designed to protect pipelines from damage during pipeline direction drilling applications, bores, river crossing and installation on rough terrain.

Resistance & Flexibility

The coating is applied to the base coat to form a layer that is resistant to gouge, impact, abrasion and penetration, according to 3M. When applied at greater thicknesses, the product enhances the hot, wet performance of the first layer of corrosion coating.
