Heavy-Duty Cleaner Built on Bio Base
A new multipurpose commercial-grade metal cleaner and degreaser from Cortec Corp. boasts a bio-based resume.
EcoClean VpCI-411 is a highly concentrated, water-dilutable D-Limonene-based cleaner/degreaser liquid with patented Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibiting technology.
The product is recommended for a variety of commercial and industrial applications. Typical uses include cleaning and degreasing heavy-duty machinery, shop tools, hoods, parts-in-process, food processing equipment, office equipment, floors, walls, lavatories and desks.
It can also be used to remove adhesives and temporary coatings and to wash hands to remove oils during machine operation.
According to the company, the biodegradable, environmentally safe product helps fight corrosion. The product contains 81 percent bio-based ingredients and is certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a bio-based product.
Multiple Uses
EcoClean VpCI-411 can be used on all engineering metals and alloys to dissolve grease, oil, paraffins and waxes, according to Cortec.
