New Pore Filler Formula Saves Steps

In2Crete has reformulated its eco-friendly pore filler for a one-step process, saving users time and money.

The reformulated Ecoguard surface grout and densifier creates no vapors and uses ground cement to create a smooth surface fill, according to the company.

Pore Filler is a water-based proprietary blend of silicates and thermally cured resin that can be blended from 1:3 to 1:9 with clean, potable water based on the hardness and porosity of the concrete matrix. The compound is designed to fill cracks up to 5mm in depth and width, holes and scratches, as well as harden the surface all in one step.

The resulting floor surface is “void of small pores and depressions” while “surface tension is greatly increased to provide a high gloss finish” that reduces overall wear to the floor.

The compound can also be color matched using In2Crete's Color Infusion system to match and blend in with floor colors.

The quick-drying formula leaves the surface smooth, abrasion resistant and ready to polish, the company says.
