Waterjetting Splashes into Free Webinar

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27, 2014

Waterjetting fills a wide variety of removal and cleaning roles in coatings work, but how does it affect the coatings applied later, and what standards guide the process?

These and other questions will be the focus of "Performance of Coatings over Waterjetted Surfaces," a free webinar to be held from 11 a.m. to noon ET (4 to 5 p.m. CET) Sept. 3.

The webinar is part of the JPCL/SSPC Webinar Education Series.

What You'll Learn

This webinar will explore issues associated with waterjetting before application of protective coatings. The latest SSPC waterjetting standards (WJ-1, WJ-2, WJ-3 and WJ-4) will be described, along with information about their use in project specifications.

The presentation will conclude with a brief review of technical literature relating to the performance of coatings applied over waterjetted steel surfaces.

The session will be presented by J. Peter Ault, a principal of Elzly Technology Corp., and sponsored by NLB Corp.
