THURSDAY, AUGUST 7, 2014

Jetstream of Houston LLP has launched a 40,000 psi air-powered waterblast control gun for surface cleaning and coating removal.

QuadraBlast offers simplified rigid lance construction and a light-weight control gun for easy operation, the company says.

Features include telescopic shoulder stock, spring-loaded trigger safety, and remote-style dump catridge.

Two Configurations

The QuadraBlast is available in single-trigger (weighing 13 pounds) or dual-trigger (weighing 16 pounds) configurations.

The control gun has a 32-inch stainless steel lance barrel and a 1/4-inch nylon tubing air hose.

Anthony Washington, product manager, says the control gun "is designed to provide a high level of operator productivity and safety on the job, while also allowing multiple gun operations."

The gun uses a self-propelled rotating nozzle, eliminating the for an external air driver, according to Washington.
