SSPC Seeking Superlative Structures
Daring bridge projects, artistic tanks, shipshape vessels and other striking coating projects are all eligible for 2015 SSPC Structure Awards, with nominations now open.
SSPC members have until Oct. 15 to submit nominations for the annual awards, which recognize teams of contractors, designers, end users and coating manufacturers for excellence in coatings projects.
The awards will be presented Feb. 3 at SSPC 2015, featuring GreenCOAT. The conference runs Feb. 3-6 at The LVH Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
Winning structures will also be featured in a photo essay in JPCL after the conference.
All structure types are eligible, including bridges; tanks; and industrial or commercial facilities. Military structures are eligible for the Military Coatings Project Award of Excellence.
Award descriptions are listed below. Except for the Charles G. Munger and the Military Coatings awards, projects must have been completed between July 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014.
