TUESDAY, MAY 27, 2014

Metal wall and roof system manufacturer Centria has introduced two architectural panel systems for exterior cladding projects focused on aesthetics.

Available in aluminum, zinc and copper, Intercept Modular Panel Systems make use of a unique fabrication process for variations in size and shape, as well as custom designs based on specific project requirements, according to the Moon Township, PA-based company.

The modular systems are designed to fit any project parameters, the company says.

The systems are available in two options designed to fit any project parameters, Centria notes.

V-Trac Panel System

The Intercept V-Trac Panel System offers a high-quality, monolithic design that delivers aesthetics and is easy to install either vertically or horizontally, the company says.

The Intercept V-Trac concealed-fastener panels are installed sequentially over a vertical carrier track and are suspended from the top using a shop-installed clip attachment at panel ends.

The design allows variable geometry and curved panels for “virtually unlimited design options,” according to Centria.

The Intercept Entyre Panel System features a continuous engagement flange and concealed fasteners that work  with sequentially installed panel units.

The fastening flange appears on the top side in a horizontal orientation, and the panel is suspended from the top.

Architects may choose vertical or horizontal installation or a variable running bond pattern, Centria said.
