Marco Debuts 2 Blastmaster Dryers

THURSDAY, MAY 8, 2014

Marco Group International has expanded its line of air dryers with the rollout of the Blastmaster 750 and 1600 CFM Air Dryers, designed to remove up to 99 percent of the water present in compressed air.

The units cool the compressed air and then pass it through moisture-absorbing desiccant tablets.

Both the Blastmaster 750 and the Blastmaster 1600 are available with a pneumatic or electric motor.

The manufacturer notes that wet abrasive reduces production rates by causing poor abrasive flow through the blasting system, resulting in excessive equipment wear, increasing maintenance costs, and increasing abrasive consumption.

According to Marco, the new units "are able to remove more moisture, decreasing work site downtime and extra costs." Both units are available with a pneumatic or electric motor.
