Roller Gauges Thickness While Coating

A new roller accessory from Wooster Brush allows applicators of high-performance floor and roof coatings to ensure the product’s proper mil thickness during application.

By attaching the Roller Gauge System's specially designed, polypropylene endcaps to a 3/16-inch nap roller, professionals are able to directly control the mil thickness of the coating being applied.

Doing so allows the applicator to eliminate the previously required squeegee process, according to Wooster.

Applications and Features

Roller Gauges can be used with floor or roof coatings such as epoxies, urethanes, anti-skid floor toppings, vapor barriers, or metallic finishes. The gauges are color-coded, with yellow for thin films (approximately 4 mils), red for medium films (approximately 12 mils), and blue for thick films (approximately 22 mils).

Each package contains six of the patent-pending endcaps.

Roller Gauge endcaps are color coded for different coating thicknesses.

Wooster Roller Gauges in yellow (R082), red (R083), and blue (R084) are available at industrial suppliers, traditional paint and decorating centers, hardware stores, and paint sundry distributors or retailers.
