Q-Lab Unveils 3 Corrosion Test Units
Q-Lab, a global provider of weathering and corrosion test equipment, has introduced the Q-FOG CRH cyclic corrosion testers, designed to perform traditional salt spray, Prohesion and most cyclic automotive tests.
The Q-FOG tester allows users to cycle through "all of the most significant corrosion environments" in one chamber, the manufacturer says. Complex, multi-step test cycles can be programmed with the controller, allowing the tester to reproduce months or years of damaging conditions in days or weeks.
The unit is available in three models:
Features and Characteristics
All Q-FOG chambers are available in two sizes: 600 and 1,100 liters. Test panel racks, hanging rod kits and flat grates are available for mounting specimens of all shapes and sizes weighing up to 1,200 pounds.
Caster wheel kits are available to allow for moving the units.
Q-Lab says Q-FOG testers were "specifically designed to have the lowest total cost of ownership in the industry."
