Scofield Adds New Interior Sealer
L.M. Scofield Company has introduced Selectseal Plus, a urethane-fortified acrylic concrete sealer designed to protect uncolored or previously stained interior concrete surfaces.
The low-odor, self-crosslinking sealer features a proprietary nanotechology designed to provide slip resistance even when wet and "more than twice" the abrasion resistance of other solvent-based sealers, the company reports in a product release.
Scofield says the high-solids sealer offers a spread rate of 400 square feet per gallon and is capable of delivering a full 1.0 mils of protection.
Testing, Application
It is certified to meet UL 410 for Slip Resistance of Floor Surface Materials and can meet ASTM, ANSI and NFSI traction standards, the company adds.
The product can be applied via traditional, microfiber, foam and lamb’s wool applicators, as well as by conventional, air-assisted, airless, or HVLP spray.
Selectseal Plus is available in one-gallon cans and five-gallon pails.
