Building Show Beefs Up Experts, CEUs

From foundation to roof, an updated slate of technical presentations will address high-performance commercial construction issues at next month's premiere D+D 2014 show.

Dozens of national building industry experts will present topics ranging from reflective roof coatings to the performance of air barriers at the show May 20-22 in Cincinnati, OH. The show is hosted by Durability + Design Magazine.

Organizers have announced an updated technical and educational program, which includes sessions eligible to receive American Institute of Architects-approved LU (Learning Unit) credits.

Several courses also offer HSW (Health, Safety and Welfare) unit hours.

The conference, which will take place at the historic Netherland Plaza Hotel, will offer two program tracks:  Materials Technology and Performance; and Good Technical Practice. Details about each presentation are provided below via links.

Registration Details

Themed “Advances in Protective and Aesthetic Technologies for Buildings,” the conference is designed for architects, specifiers, contractors, facility owners and other building technology professionals.

Registration is available via www.regonline.com/dd2014 and includes admission to the exhibit hall, keynote session, educational program sessions, lunches and special events for all three days.

The full conference package includes lunches and cocktail receptions at the historic Netherland Plaza Hotel in downtown Cincinnati.

A discounted early-bird rate of $350 for full registration will be available until April 18. After that, the rate for full conference privileges will be $450. One-day admission tickets are also available.
