Vaughn O'Dea's Preparing Surfaces at Wastewater Plants was named JPCL's Outstanding Publication.

"JPCL is proud to be the forum to bring these fine articles to the industry."

All but one of the papers were previously published in JPCL; the other was a presentation made at SSPC 2013.

The 2014 JPCL honorees are as follows.

Outstanding Publication

Preparing Surfaces at Wastewater Plants: An Overview of Substrates, Practices and Standards, by Vaughn O'Dea of Tnemec Co., describes how surface preparation for the use of high-performance protective linings contributes to the sustainability of wastewater infrastructure.

In this September 2012 article, O'Dea also discusses surface preparation for common substrates found within severe wastewater environments.
