MPI Appoints New Standards Exec
Davis Kyle, a coatings industry veteran, has been named executive vice president of the Master Painters Institute.
In the newly created role, Kyle is charged with expanding the use of paint and coating standards in North America's facility management sector, according to the organization.
Kyle has more spent more than 30 years in the coatings industry, including stints at PPG Industries and AkzoNobel.
Most recently, he served as the vice-president of marketing at General Paint, where he was responsible for the designing and implementing programs for the specification and property management sectors.
In a statement, MPI President Barry Law said, “The sharpened focus that Davis and his experience brings will further add to the success of the MPI, and I look forward to being able to further solidify our presence in [the facility management] market.”
MPI is a developer of architectural paint standards and quality assurance programs.
