New ‘Un-wallpaper’ Designs Roll Out

FRIDAY, JANUARY 3, 2014

From Woodgrain to Fields of Flowers, Rollerwall LLC has introduced more than 90 new “un-wallpaper” patterns for its roller design wallprinting system.

The new patterns are recommended for hotels, hospitals, commercial buildings and residences.

The company says a beautiful seamless “wallpapered” room can be accomplished with paint and roller in less than two hours.

How it Works

The Rollerwall Design Painting and Decorating System consists of two parts: a pattern roller (a six-inch-wide rubber roller with a raised pattern embossed on its surface) and an applicator (which consists of a frame, a handle, and a special foam feeder roller).

To use the system, simply roll the feeder roller into some paint, snap on a pattern roller, and apply the design to the wall, the company says.

The designs can also be applied to floors; ceilings; furniture; fabrics; curtains; drapes; lamp shades; sheets; and tablecloths.

The system works on interior and exterior surfaces, Rollerwall says, including cinder blocks and textured walls that cannot be wallpapered.

New Patterns

The company's 92 new patterns include an array of florals, geometrics, woodgrain, classic, modern and oriental designs.

Each pattern can be applied in one or two colors at the same time using ordinary latex paint, the company says.

Rollerwall offers a one-pattern starter kit to first-time customers for $98.90 via the company’s website.

Founded in 1975, Rollerwall says its products have been used on thousands of walls worldwide.
