The Valspar Corp. has introduced the next generation of its WeatherX coil coating system for commercial, residential and industrial applications.

The new WeatherXL is a silicone-modified polyester coating made to resist chalking and fading, the Minneapolis-based paint and coatings maker reports.

The product is available in a variety of colors and Solar Reflective formulations, to help meet Energy Star and LEED qualifications, according to Valspar.
