JPCL Launches Free European Edition

JPCL: Journal of Protective Coatings and Linings, has introduced a free digital edition focusing on the European protective and marine coatings market.

JPCL Europe, which debuted Monday (Sept. 16), is an online monthly publication for readers in the Europe, Middle East and North African (EMEA) region.

Like JPCL, now marking its 30th year, JPCL Europe is published by Pittsburgh, PA-based Technology Publishing Co., which also publishes PaintSquare News, paintsquare.com, Durability + Design Magazine, D+D News, and durabilityanddesign.com.

Articles will focus on good practice in selecting and using protective and marine coatings.

The U.S. edition of JPCL is the official journal of SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings.

Protective and Marine Expertise

Like its U.S. sister publication, JPCL Europe provides timely content about protective and marine coatings for contractors, engineers, specifiers, facility owners, and coating and equipment suppliers.

Stories will focus on coating work in the bridge and highway, marine, offshore, transmission pipeline, water and wastewater, pulp and paper, chemical and petrochemical, and railcar sectors.

Coverage will focus on the major generic coating types and where they are best used. Included will be presentation of good technical practice in the disciplines of surface preparation, coating application, quality control, safety, environmental compliance, and program and project management.

JPCL Europe is a free publication optimized for viewing on tablets and laptops, and each issue features interactive content, such as videos, links to more information, room for reader comments, and personal customization features.

Content for JPCL Europe is derived from European industry authorities and news sources under the direction of London-based Editor-in-Chief Brian Goldie (+44 20 8644 9977), a coatings industry veteran who also serves as the Technical Editor for JPCL. Some content will be contributed from JPCL.
