NLB's new convertible waterjet pump unit, the 1005 Series, has several built-in features and conversion options. It uses many of the same parts as other NLB units.

The 1005 Series uses many of the same parts as the other 24 available NLB convertible units, the company said.

A simple kit can convert the in-line fluid end of two models from the series for a maximum flow of 333 gpm.

The diesel-powered units are built around NLB's slow-running quintuplex plunger pump, which minimizes wear and maintenance. Internal gearing eliminates the need for large pulleys or belts, according to the company.

Other features include a forged steel crankshaft mounted in heavy-duty bearings and drive pinion output shafts on both sides of the pump. All operating controls, including the bypass valve and pressure gauge with snubber, are mounted on a separate accessory mainfold for extra protection.

About the Company

NLB Corp. manufactures a full line of water jetting pump units and accessories for contractor and industrial uses.

Applications include surface preparation, product removal, tube and pipe cleaning, pavement marking and rubber removal, tank cleaning, and concrete and pipe cutting.
