Sauereisen has introduced a new line of coating products for the industrial wastewater market designed to protect concrete and steel from chemical attack.

The new SewerGard Industrial product line consists of SewerGard Epoxy NovolaK Coating No. 210GN, Sprayable NovolaK No. 210SN, and Trowelable NovolaK no. 210TN.

Sauereisen's new line offers three coatings for the industrial wastewater market.

All three products can be used in aggresive wastewater environments, such as oil refineries, food processing plants, power generation facilities, mining operations, and pulp and paper plants, the company said.

SewerGard No. 210GN is a glaze specifically designed to resist strong acid environments, including 98 percent sulfuric acid, and is formulated as a sealer to resist strong oxidizing environments, according to the company. It can be applied by spray or roller. The chemically resistant, 100% solids, epoxy novolak coating system is used as a topcoat for Sauereisen SewerGard Industrial systems or as a coating to protect concrete and steel from chemical attack.

The SewerGard Industrial line is designed for aggressive wastewater environments.

SewerGard No. 210SN is spray-applied and provides barrier resistance to thermal shock in cooler environments and is resistant to high temperatures. Designed for protection of concrete and steel, the fiber-reinforced, chemically resistant, 100% solids, epoxy novolak lining system provides flexural strength and ultra-low permeability, the company said.

SewerGard No. 210TN is an aggregate-filled, novolac epoxy material for concrete protection. The trowelable, nonsagging coating is designed to prevent water infiltration and can be applied over damp or dry surfaces.

"The new additions to the SewerGard product line work as an economical barrier to corrosive environments, ensuring a long term fix that will prevent future costs," said Kyle de Bruyn, Sauereisen's Material Scientist.

"Each product is unique in its ability to withstand damaging processing chemicals and industrial wastewater, and stand up to high temperatures that would typically cause severe deterioration."

Greetings! This company already had on its porfolio products a line of SewerGard No. 210 available in four versions (Sprayable, Trowelable, Rotatory Spray & Glaze. Are we talking about new products or improvement formulation of the current ones? Thanks.
