World of Concrete, the industry’s largest annual international event dedicated to concrete and masonry professionals, will launch its 2022 conference next week at the Las Vegas Convention Center. WOC is scheduled to run Jan. 18-20, with pre-show education all day on Jan. 17.

WOC has hosted more than 60,000 industry professionals from around the world, representing all segments of thee construction industry, with approximately 1,500 exhibiting companies occupying more than 700,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibit space.

At the end of December, WOC announced that it would be “confidently” moving ahead with the in-person event despite concerns from the COVID-19 Omicron variant, adding that it will follow all local health guidelines including Nevada’s mandate for masks to be worn in all public places, regardless of vaccination status.

“While your success is a top priority, your safety is too. We want to reassure you that the event will take place, and that we will put safety at the heart of the event experience so we are able to reconnect and get back to business, while keeping our community safe,” stated the release.
