Five Reasons to Attend the CPIA, CCC Conferences

This October, the Commercial Painting Industry Association will host its inaugural CPIA Leadership Conference in conjunction with Technology Publishing Company’s hosted buyer event, Commercial Contractor Connect.

The Leadership Conference is slated to take place over three days, from Oct. 19-21 at the Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Palm Coast, Florida, while Commercial Contractor Connect will also occur at the resort from Oct. 21-22.

Focusing solely on the commercial painting industry, the conferences promise three days of guaranteed face time with top commercial painting contractors, and meetings between leadership teams of some of the most successful commercial painting businesses in North America.

This October, the Commercial Painting Industry Association will host its inaugural CPIA Leadership Conference in conjunction with Technology Publishing Company’s hosted buyer event, Commercial Contractor Connect.

Specifically, the dual conference will bring together Commercial Contractor Connect sponsors (suppliers) for private, one-on-one time with a curated selection of the country’s leading commercial painting contractors (buyers), as patterned from TPC’s already-established Contractor Connect events, which have paired industrial painting contractor attendees with sponsor vendors.

Reason One: Expert Presentations

As a current or aspiring industry leader, this conference is slated to be an opportunity to where attendees can share knowledge with their peers and learn from the event’s respected speakers. Confirmed speakers scheduled to present at the event include:

  • Keynote: Sean Snaith, Director of the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Economic Forecasting;
  • Dwain DeVille, CEO Coach, Founder of CEO Ride and author of The Biker’s Guide to Business: When Business and Life Meet at the Crossroads;
  • Jim McBrayer, CEO of McBrayer & Associates; and
  • Laurence Pearlman, Senior Vice President of Consulting Solutions at Marsh Advisory.

Reason Two: Roundtable & Panel Discussions

Throughout the conference, industry leaders and attendees will have the opportunity to discuss critical concerns in the commercial painting industry such as supply chain forecasting and the retention of high-performing employees.

Other potential topics for discussion include:

  • New products;
  • Coatings technology; and
  • Sales.

In addition to bringing together CPIA members and possible future members alike, as well as industry partners, experts and your TPC hosts, the commercial-focused event will also feature intense networking sessions.

Afternoon options include:

  • A kayaking ecotour; and
  • A Sport fishing excursion.

A mixture of contractor and vendor attendees will also be able to mix over additional activities, educational sessions, meals, cocktails and cigars, in addition to scheduled one-on-one meetings.

The Commercial Painting Industry Association is the first and only trade association created exclusively for commercial painting professionals. Its mission is to nurture a peer-based community of industry experts dedicated to learning and development through collaboration.
