IFS Coatings’ Polychem Coatings brand has launched its 2021-22 powder coating color trend palettes.

The Polychem Powder Coating Color Trends 2021-22 consist of four different palettes separated into categories of “Home is Where …,” “Disruption,” “Sustainabwell” and “Space.”

“It’s certainly no understatement to say that 2020 was a challenging year, on so many different levels,” said Glynn Mason, IFS Coatings President. “The Polychem color palettes for 2021-22 have undoubtedly been influenced by this, from the warm, nurturing colors of our ‘Home is Where…’ trend, through to the bright pops of color as a ray of light and optimism in the ‘Disruption’ trend.”

Some tones in the palettes include:

• Home is Where – this collection went in the direction of warm, neutral, multi-purpose shades such as Hammered Bronze, Street Gray and Rustic Brown;
• Disruption – this grouping holds both warm metallics as well as pops of brighter colors such as Sunshine Yellow, Topper Gold and Silver Vein;
• Sustainabwell – this palette features light earth tones such as Coyote Granite, Stone Brown and Pale Marine; and
• Space – this cluster includes a mix of the earth tones seen in Sustainabwell and bolder neutrals such as Pearl Night Blue, New Aspire Trust and Silver Texture.
