A set of five originally developmental drawings of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater is now up for auction by Boston-based RR Auction.

Each page is also notated "File B-111A," and numbered one through five.

  • Page one shows a detailed overhead view of the first- and second-floor plans of the home, all labeled with measurements, with notes on the side. Several additional pencil sketches have been added to the first page as well.
  • Page two is a wiring schematic of the entire home, listing 15 different circuits.
  • Page three shows an overhead view of roof and third floor.
  • Page four shows details of the basement, complete with boulders, a wine cellar and boiler room, with the shoreline of Bear Run added to the bottom portion of the drawing.
  • Page five shows an overhead view of the second floor.

The set is reportedly rolled and in “overall fine condition,” with some paper loss to lower right corner of first page, expected handling wear and soiling, and some scattered light creases and short edge tears, according to the auction house.

"Blueprints from any Wright work are highly sought-after—this set, with its intricate details is one of the finest Wright items we have ever offered," said Bobby Livingston, Executive VP at RR Auction.

This auction will conclude at 7 p.m. ET on July 8.
