Sherwin-Williams Launches Designer Support Center

Global coatings firm The Sherwin-Williams Company (Cleveland) recently announced the launch of its Architect and Designer Support Center, which is a site that aims to “point professionals to educational tools and creative resources to help them navigate today’s challenging times.”

The site provides access to continuing education, news and other resources, according to the company.

“The architect and designer community continues to inspire us with its resiliency and creativity,” said Sue Wadden, Director of Color Marketing at Sherwin-Williams. “We launched the support center to show our commitment and provide tools and resources to help professionals navigate these uncertain times.”

Key sections of the Architect and Designer Support Center include:

  • Business Recourses – information on the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, emergency disaster loans and extended unemployment benefits;
  • Educational Opportunities – virtual events and self-guided continuing education sessions for CEU credit;
  • COVID-19 Response – information on what actions Sherwin has taken to support emppoyees, customers and communities;
  • Ongoing Inspiration – collection of color trends, color samples and articles that showcase connections between color and design; and
  • Additional Resources – virtual appointments with designer and architectural executives who can assist with specification and job support as well as resources for third-party certification information and downloadables.

Sherwin also recently launched its Pro Support Center, a website that the firm says is dedicated to tools and education resources for painting contractors and other professionals.

That site also includes information about business resources, COVID-19 responses, industry insights, educational opportunities and additional information.
