The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands is seeking contractors to complete a residents' center located in Honolulu.

Bids are due Nov. 8.

Scope of Work

The project will consist of construction of a modular community center on Hawaiian Home Lands in Ho’olehua, Moloka’i. Construction will include a parking lot, wastewater system, furnishing the new building and the building itself. This project will heavily serve veterans in the area and offer convenience due to the Molokai Airport being nearby.

The approved contractor will oversee various shop painting in which primer will be applied to the surface of metal fabrications. This requires Paint Application Specification No. 1 (SSPC-PA 1). These surfaces also require Commercial Blast Cleaning (SSPC-SP 6) to exterior surfaces, and Power-Tool Cleaning (SSPC-SP 3) to interior surfaces.
