“This is a major win for the PPG marine team and showcases the value PPG can bring to customers through its broad range of products and deep expertise,” said Juanjo Ardid, who serves as PPG vice president, protective and marine coatings for the U.S. and Canada.

“By leveraging our global scale and people with expertise in markets around the world, we can partner with customers to deliver value, innovation and practical solutions that make a difference.”

PPG has provided services to MSC for more than a decade. The MSC fleet was established in 1949, and features more than 20 different classes of ships for transport and other services for the Department of Defense.

Company technical service specialists will also be on hand to advise work in terms of product selection and application.

“We are committed to supporting the U.S. Navy MSC and we’re proud of the trust that they continue to place in us,” said Scott Doering, PPG sales director for protective and marine coatings, U.S.
