SSPC: The Society of Protective Coatings recently announced via an emailed press release that it will be accepting nominations for its 2019-20 Structure Awards, to be presented at the Awards Luncheon of the SSPC Coatings+ 2020 Conference in February.

The Structure Awards recognize the work of teams of contractors, designers, coating manufacturers and end-users for excellence on protective coatings projects. In addition to receiving the honor and recognition from SSPC, project winners will also be featured in a photo essay in the Journal of Protective Coatings and Linings.

Unless otherwise noted, projects nominated must have been completed between July 1, 2018, and June 30, 2019. Nominations can be submitted for all types of structures including, but not limited to: bridges, tanks, concrete structures, and industrial or commercial facilities.

Nominations will be accepted through Aug. 30.
