Technology Publishing Co.’s third annual Elevation Awards will see a mixture of consistent, returning and new faces on the judges’ panel.

Six industry professionals are slated to evaluate the nominees for honors in both aesthetic and technical categories throughout the commercial coatings industry.

Technology Publishing Co.’s third annual Elevation Awards will see a mixture of consistent, returning and new faces on the judges’ panel.

“With so much to build on from our first two years with these honors, we wanted to keep a few of core judges and mix it up a bit at the same time,” said Brandy Hadden, commercial editor for PaintSquare Press.

“As a result, we have two judges coming back to us who were a part of the panel in our inaugural year; I’m looking forward to them being able to see how the competition has grown. We also have one brand new face with us and I’m eager to hear their perspectives as well.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of serving as a judge for the first two Elevation Awards and look forward to being on the panel again this year,” Trimber said when the nomination period for the third installment opened.

“The submissions for the first two years have been well-prepared, thorough and thought-provoking. The aspect of judging that I appreciate the most, is the opportunity it provides to learn more about the complexities of each project and how the teams managed the challenges they faced. The background information is as compelling to me as the appearance and functionality of the finished product.”

Once again, the categories for the Elevation Awards are: Exteriors, Commercial + Public Buildings; Interiors, Commercial + Public Buildings; Renovation/Retrofit; Floor Coatings + Treatments; Air Barriers + Moisture Management; Roof Coatings + Systems; and the Judges’ Choice Award.

The early-bird deadline for nominations is May 31. Visit paintsquare.com/elevation for more details.
