Concrete construction products manufacturer W.R. Meadows’ (Hampshire, Illinois) recently announced the release of Ultrite Coating Remover, a soy gel that removes a range of one-part topical coatings, including sealers, acrylics and urethanes, from a number of substrates.

Ultrite Coating Remover, which the company notes does not contain methylene chloride, is low-odor, non-caustic and safe for use in interiors, most notably warehouses, industrial plants and service stations, among others. Ultrite can reportedly remove multiple coating layers in one application, no hard scrubbing required.

Customers can use Ultrite Cleaner to remove residue left behind by the coating remover.

“Ultrite Coating Remover is an exciting option to remove [worn-out] coatings,” said Jim Becker, Product Group Manager, Construction Liquids, W. R. Meadows.
