In its eighth year, the Concrete Décor Show will be held Nov. 6-10, at the Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida.

In addition to an exhibit hall, dozens of seminars, along with several workshops and panels, will educate in seven different concrete décor topics including coatings, countertops, hardscaping and vertical, overlays and toppings, polishing, staining and coloring, and stamping.

“We’ve changed up this year’s schedule to ensure that no educational offerings overlap with the expo’s hours,” said Bent Mikkelsen, publisher of Concrete Décor Magazine and the show's organizer.

“Contractors won’t have to choose how to divide their time between taking classes and visiting exhibits because they will be offered at different times.”

Technical Program

Classes, workshops and panel discussions will take place in the mornings, while the expo is open to the public in the afternoons.

Highlighted seminars include:

  • Dealing with Moisture in Concrete;
  • Sealers for Decorative Concrete—Selection and Application;

  • Troubleshooting Acid Stain on Concrete; and
  • Advanced Concrete Staining Applications—The Artistry of Color, Texture and Cohesive Design.

This year’s conference also marks the last year the event will be annual.

“In the even years, we’ll host a buying event that will strengthen and support vendor/distributor relations for decorative concrete products, nationally and internationally.”

The next conference is slated to be held in Texas in 2019.
