Technical consulting firm Elzly Technology Corporation is conducting a survey related to soluble salt detection and remediation, and your input is needed.

The firm is studying methods for mitigating the effects of soluble salts on steel protective coating performance as part of a project awarded by the National Cooperative Highway Research Program, administered by the Transportation Research Board.

Elzly Technology Corporation is asking for input as part of a project the firm is doing on the detection and remediation of soluble salts on coating projects.

Part of Elzly’s research involves gathering information from coating inspectors regarding their experience with the detection of soluble salts—in this case including chlorides, sulfates and nitrates and other soluble ionic species—and their remediation prior to painting.

Elzly says the survey will take most users about 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and the information gathered will help to make the project a success.
