Graco says it culled professional end-user feedback to ensure design improvements in the Ultra and Ultra Max sprayers. The Ultra MAX sprayer can be used with all architectural coatings, including waterborne, solvent-based and flammable coatings. It uses brushless technology, static shock protection and solvent resistance.
“The new technology and design features on the Ultra and Ultra MAX handheld sprayers truly change the game for painting contractors,” says Dan Johnson, Graco Global Product Marketing Manager for Professional Airless Handheld Sprayers. “They are designed to make it easier to complete small jobs in the shortest time possible while delivering a professional airless finish in a single coat without thinning.”
Multiple Features
Graco says its RAC X FF LP Tips with SmartTip Technology offer an airless finish, and its ProControl II and SmartControl technology provide motor speed adjustment and advanced pressure control using architectural coatings at any hand speed. The Dewalt XR Lithium Ion Battery System ensures extended spray time.
The firm notes that its Triax triple piston pump on the Ultra and Ultra MAX sprayers is durable; it provides full tip support from size .008 to .016. The ProConnect Pump Replacement System is geared to reduce downtime. Graco says lighter components have reduced sprayer weight by 15 percent, limiting user fatigue. Also, Graco points out that its FlexLiner Bag System allows spraying at any angle—even upside down.
