From the demolition of the Metrodome to the home-opener at the National Football League’s Minnesota Vikings' new $1.1 billion stadium, a 32-month-long voyage has now been condensed into three minutes.

A new time-lapse video shows the rise of the U.S. Bank Stadium, which opened this month in downtown Minneapolis. Comprising 1.75 million square feet and seating 66,655 fans, the stadium is the largest public works project in the state's history.

HD images and billion-pixel panorama photographs taken over the course of the construction project were used to create the dizzying three-minute video, according to EarthCam, the New Jersey-based company that produced it.

Set to dramatic music, the video covers the dismantling of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, which opened in 1982, to the Vikings' Sept. 18 match-up against the Green Bay Packers.
