Imron offers basecoat and topcoat polyurethane products primarily for use on commercial vehicles.

Imron, a brand of polyurethane coatings for the OEM market and aftermarket commercial vehicles, has unveiled a new brand identity and logo in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of its parent company, Axalta. Imron, according to Axalta, has been in operation for five decades.

Imron polyurethane enamel has been used by heavy-duty truck, bus, and rail manufacturers, the company states. The brand boasts durability, graffiti-resistant performance on topcoats and clears, corrosion protection, and resistance to chemicals and weathering, as well as shock and impact, the manufacturer notes.

The New Logo

The new red logo includes a diamond, a road and a shield, each element having a distinct meaning in relation to Imron’s products and operations. The diamond represents toughness, the company says; the road represents the harsh environments the coatings stand up to; and the shield represents the protective nature of the products.

“The new, bold logo will help our customers identify the Imron brand around the globe,” notes Vanessa Navarro, global marketing manager for Axalta.

The branding will be rolled out starting this month, Axalta says.
