Modifier Made for Stone Paints

Ashland has announced plans to make its Natrostone H30 rheology modifier available to the American market.

The rheology modifier is a water-soluble polymer specifically designed to thicken liquid-applied stone paint and create the natural look and feel of stone, according to the company.

The rheology modifier is designed to create the natural look and feel of stone, according to Ashland.

It imparts stone paint with excellent application, sprayability and stability; good water resistance; and more efficiency for applicators, Ashland says.

The company plans to showcase the technology; highlight its new coatings laboratory in Wilmington, DE; and host an interactive digital rheology game at the American Coatings Show, April 12-14 in Indianapolis.
