The fate of a bright blue-painted Victorian home in Atascocita, TX, is uncertain following posts on social media.
The homeowners, Keely Kish Dubrova and her husband, Peter, have sparked controversy over their paint color selection, according to KHOU 11 News.
A Realtor, who chose to stay anonymous, reportedly posted a photo of the Dubrova residence on social media seeking opinions on property value and aesthetic appeal.

The post sparked hundreds of comments, the report said.
“Everything from white trash Californians, what are they doing here to we want to hang them,” Keely told KHOU.
The colorful paint job was part of a remodeling effort to turn the old home into a “sanctuary” for the couple.
Letter from HOA
The television station reported that while the couple previously received approval for the bright teal hue from the HOA: Atascocita Community Improvement Association, following the backlash on social media they recently received a letter stating that the house needed to be repainted.
The real estate agent who made the social media post said that she was “sure” that the homeowners failed to follow HOA guidelines.
“This was a way to start up another conversation about what is the HOA doing,” the Realtor told KHOU.
For now, the homeowners are confused about whether they need to repaint and if so, what color, the report noted.
They hope for resolution on the ultimate fate of the blue house at the next HOA meeting, set for today (Oct. 26).
