Dust-Free Slurry Blaster Debuts

Rapid Prep has introduced a new dust-free slurry blaster that the company says is built for a wide variety of blasting and coating needs.

The Greener Blast is a high-performance slurry blasting system that requires a minimum of 375 cfm to a maximum of 1,500 cfm, according to the company. The company also says the slurry blaster is capable of handling drive nozzles ranging from a #6 to a #12 and blasting pressures of 15 psi to 100 psi.

The Greener Blast is a high-performance slurry blasting system that requires a minimum of 375 cfm to a maximum of 1,500 cfm, according to Rapid Prep.

Rapid Prep says the Greener Blast comes with a 50-foot, 1 ¼ inch blast hose; a 50-foot twin line; and a #8 Kennametal XL performance nozzle. It is available for electric or pneumatic power sources.

The Greener Blast is portable and can be either purchased or rented.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a "dust-free" blast system.
