A new respirator helmet designed to improve blasting safety is now available from Rapid Prep.

RPB NOVA 3 TALK features a wireless communication system to enable constant contact with crew members who are wearing the respirator helmets, the company says. A headset is located inside the pillow foam padding with a large push-to-talk button that Rapid Prep says allows for easy activation.

The RPB NOVA 3 TALK has a wireless communication device built in to help blasters communicate, according to Rapid Prep.

The company says the helmet is made for use in confined spaces, such as tanks, water towers and shipyards or in any location where operators are out of the line of sight or not easily accessed.

The respirator helmet is dust tight and waterproof, and its design helps prevent lens fogging, according to the manufacturer.
