Rapid Prep is offering a respirator helmet equipped with a wireless communication system that the company says helps improve safety while blasting.

The RPB NOVA 3 TALK enables contact with crew members who are wearing the respirator helmets, the company says. A headset is located inside the pillow foam padding with a large push-to-talk button that Rapid Preps says allows for easy activation.

The RPB NOVA 3 TALK has a wireless communication device built in to help blasters communicate, according to Rapid Prep.

The company says the helmet is made to be used in confined spaces such as tanks, water towers and shipyards or in any location where operators are out of the line of sight or not easily accessed.

The respirator helmet is dust tight and waterproof, and its design helps prevent lens fogging, according to the company.
