PHILADELPHIA—Vexcon Chemicals has introduced a low-viscosity sealer formulated for use on aged or weathered previously sealed concrete.

Certi-Vex Re-Seal IT is designed to improve the appearance of older concrete that was previously sealed. The low-viscosity formulation promotes breathability and adhesion and, when properly applied, “melts” into the existing sealer, binding it to the new one, the manufacturer says.

Certi-Vex Re-Seal IT is designed to "melt" into previously sealed, old concrete, binding the old sealer to the new.

Vexcon says the product rejuvenates old and worn surfaces and is:

  • Non-yellowing;
  • Fast drying;
  • Easy to use; and
  • VOC compliant.

Certi-Vex Re-Seal IT is part of Vexcon’s concrete cure and seal product line, which the company bills as the industry's largest.

Vexcon offers liquid and powder construction materials for decorative concrete, moisture control, new construction, waterproofing, repair and restoration, protective treatments and high-performance floor and wall coatings.
