Spider has launched a modular suspended platform that can be configured for a variety of structures and projects.
The Spider Knockdown Mod is designed to offer versatile, flexible and cost-effective access options for painting, inspection, construction, maintenance and other projects at height.
The platform has a 2,000-pound load capacity and can be assembled by one person in less than 10 minutes, according to Spider. It can be configured for "virtually any type of structure," the company says.
(The Spider Knockdown Mod is a differently branded twin of Power Climber's newly launched PowerMod. Both Spider and Power Climber are brands of SafeWorks LLC.)

Built-in toeboards, removable and adjustable guardrails, one-step self-locking pins, and light weight make the PowerMod easy to transport and assemble, according to Power Climber. The unit features compact parts, an aluminum deck, and aluminum extrusion components that resist corrosion.
Spider is the largest manufacturer and distributor of access and fall protection systems in North America.
