Cortec has added two eco-friendly paint and graffiti strippers for industrial paint removal applications.

As well as working on industrial paint removal applications, the products are also efficient gasket removers, according to Cortec.

Gel & Liquid

VpCI-434G is formulated to be an "exceptionally smooth flowing" gel that provides vertical cling to surfaces; VpCI-434L is a liquid solution.

According to the company, the strippers use special wetting agents to penetrate deep into coatings for easy removal of inks, acrylics, 2k and 1k urethanes, alkyds, lacquers, varnishes and adhesives.

Both products are effective on metal tanks, metal pipes, spray booths, structural supports, spray equipment, machine tools, railcars, airplanes, floors, pavements, road surfaces, and more, the company says.

Stripping times vary, depending on the type and number of layers to be removed.
