Pipe lining manufacturer Nu Flow Technologies Inc. is now distributing its proprietary line of cutting, cleaning and reinstating tools directly to the public.

Previously, the tools were available only to those who licensed the company's Nu Drain technology to rehabilitate failing piping systems.

Nu Flow Technologies manufactures non-destructive and non-invasive technologies to rehabilitate small diameter piping systems.

“This decision is driven by the growing demand for proprietary cutting tools by industry professionals across the globe,” said Nu Flow CEO Cameron Manners.

NuFlow is now directly selling its Pneumatic Micro-Cutter, Electric Micro-Cutter, flexible shaft cables, and interchangeable cutting and cleaning heads.

The Pneumatic Micro-Cutter is used to clean and remove pipe debris, calcite and roots from the inside of steel, cast iron, orangeburg and other pipes. The system rotates at approximately 2000 RPM and will negotiate turns of 90 degrees in pipes down to two inches in diameter.

Nu Flow's Pneumatic Micro-Cutter (left) and Light Duty Electric Micro-Cutter are now available for direct sale to the general public.

The compact Light Duty Electric Micro-Cutter can negotiate turns of 90 degrees. Designed for indoor use of commercial, industrial and high-rise buildings where pneumatic access is difficult, the cutter is best suited when little cleaning and reinstating is necessary. The foot-pedal-activated cutter runs at 110 volts with variable speeds in a variety of pipes.

Both Micro-Cutters can use Nu Flow’s interchangeable cutting and cleaning heads and flexible shaft cables.
