New waterjet lances from NLB Corp. boast more safety features for operator protection, the manufacturer reports.

The new NCG24-535 waterjet lances are rated for operating pressures of up to 24,000 psi and are designed to reduce the chance of hose or fitting failure.

The NCG24-535 waterjet lance has a patented trigger that allows the operator to immediately dump pressure by pushing it forward.

The lance has a patented trigger that lets the operator dump pressure immediately by pushing forward. It can be operated with 8 to 12 pounds of pressure, and a one-finger latch prevents accidental actuation, the company says.

The lance comes standard with the HSS40-06 safety shroud and reduces stress on the inlet connection by eliminating the bend radius in the hose that supplies high-pressure water, according to NLB Corp.

The NCG24-535 weighs 12 pounds and has a 36-inch barrel, but longer barrels are available.

It also features the quick-change cartridge that can be swapped in the field in one minute.
