Blasting and cleaning equipment maker Gritco BV has introduced a long-sleeve jacket and bright-orange safety cape to improve protection for abrasive blasters.

The jacket is designed to replace the standard cape with Gritco's NOVA 2000 blasting helmet, which the company launched last year.

Gritco's new jacket is designed for greater protection; the Safety Orange cape is made for greater visibility.

The long-sleeve jacket is made from the same durable, lightweight, and breathing material and attaches to the helmet with the stud domes.

The Safety Orange cape, an alternative to the standard cape, improves blaster visibility inside tanks, high-dust areas, offshore, and other environments where visibility can be a challenge, the Netherlands-based company says.
